The Town of Irvington pays tribute to former town clerk Jacqueline Harper Burrell with a new plaque at the Irvington Commons. Current clerk Laurel Taylor tells the Rappahannock Record Burrell served 21 years starting in 1996 and was known as a hands-on administrator with an infinite knowledge of Irvington’s history. She especially enjoyed working on the Irvington Fourth of July parades. Burrell died in 2017.
