Rappahannock Electric Cooperative’s “Power of Change” program announced the nonprofits receiving donations during the first half of 2023. More than $138,000 is going to support 29 nonprofits in our communities. REC member-owners give voluntarily to support nonprofits by rounding up their electric bill to the next whole dollar. Gifts can also be a set monthly amount or a one-time donation. Twice a year, donations from The Power of Change are made available to nonprofits in the communities the co-op serves.
