The Richmond County Board of Supervisors is asked to consider raising the income limits for the elderly and disabled real estate tax relief program. According to News on the Neck the current ordinance states that the total combined income cannot exceed $20,000 and assets cannot exceed $100,000. County staff suggested that the maximum income limit be bumped up to $25,000. A public hearing is being planned for next month.
