The second communications tower to be installed at the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad building on Cricket Hill Road was delivered last week. According to the Gazette-Journal installation will begin once all inspections are completed. At that point the county will be able to issue requests for proposals from potential broadband and cell carriers seeking to put equipment on the tower.
