The Virginia Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting today at the Gloucester County Public Library, Main Street Branch in Hayes about a proposed project to modify the intersections of Route 17 Business at Route 628 and Route 17 Business at Route 1018. The projects seek to reduce the risk of crashes at the intersections by modifying access and increasing motorist sight distance. The meeting is from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
