Virginia now has a Department of Workforce Development and Advancement that according to Governor Glenn Youngkin’s office will create, sustain, and retain a highly skilled workforce. The House of Delegates and Senate passed bills during this year’s session to create the agency which Youngkin says will fundamentally transform the workforce for the future and better position Virginia to not only compete, but set the national standard for talent.
