U.S. Senator Mark Warner recently visited Middlesex County to meet with community members and present $800,000 in federal funds for broadband deployment. Warner says that he’s been working hard to bring internet coverage to every corner of Virginia starting when he was governor. Yhe federal funding from the American Rescue Plan will go straight to expanding coverage in the Middle Peninsula. Over the next decade there will be additional programs to get more homes connected.
