The Bay Center has joined forces with Commonwealth Senior Living Kilmarnock (CSL), VCU Brain Health Initiative and Bay Aging to present a series of informative and encouraging seminars to support caregivers. The Bay Center is known for its grief support program. Offering similar programming to support caregivers has been a goal for the past few years.
The first session will be held from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, September 28, at Grace Episcopal Church, 303 South Main Street, Kilmarnock. Christine Slavin, CSL marketing director and a former caregiver, will present Coping Techniques for Caregivers.
