The application period for Dominion Energy’s environmental grant is underway. Nonprofits and educational organizations in the company’s service areas including those in Virginia and North Carolina are encouraged to apply.
Eligible groups can earn up to $50,000 to support projects to improve the environment. Public and private K-12 schools can also apply for grants up to $5,000 for environmental education programs. The deadline is 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Since 2003, the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation has awarded nearly $40 million to projects that protect and improve the environment.
