There will be a Town Hall Meeting to solicit public input on Healy’s Mill Dam and the potential Abandonment or Discontinuation of a portion of Stormont Road. It’s scheduled to begin at 7:00 P.M, Monday, October 2nd, at the Historic Courthouse, 865 General Puller Highway. The meeting is in response to the Healy’s Mill Homeowners Association’s request that the above referenced portion of Stormont Road be permanently closed to facilitate a low hazard classification of the dam thereby enabling repairs to the dam less expensive.
