The Town of Irvington will conduct a public information meeting for citizens and stakeholders regarding a potential sewer project at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 28, at Irvington Baptist Church, 53 King Carter Drive, Irvington. The Rappahannock Record reports a preliminary engineering report from Bowman Engineering and Consultation will be discussed.
According to a proposal submitted by Bowman in June, the engineering report would cost $50,484. The proposal includes a detailed scope of the work including a series of project review meetings and workshops, the development of related mapping and recommendations of options and costs, preparation and the submission of a draft preliminary engineering report, and the process of receiving comments and submission of a final preliminary engineering report.
