The Mathews High School Marching Band will hold a public exhibition at 6 p.m. Friday on the school’s Ken Brown Field. The Gazette Journal reports in addition to the free performance, Blue Devil spirit ware will be available for purchase. Donations for the MHS music department will be accepted. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, the MHS music department will hold a fundraiser car wash at O‘Reilly Auto Parts, 3192 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes (near the Hayes Kroger grocery store).
