In Mathews, planning is underway for May Faire 2024, a spring heritage festival put on by the Mathews Historical Museum and which will be held for the sixth year. The Gazette Journal reports the theme for May 4, 2024, is “A Rural Life.” The festival will be held on and around Mathews Court Green, and at the museum, which is located at 200 Main Street.
The committee is planning activities to reflect the county’s agricultural heritage.
