Stalled Budget Bill May Pass in Assembly’s Special Session

When the special session of the Assembly meets on Wednesday, there will be a new state budget bill…Roxanne Stuart has the details.

“When the assembly convenes, House and Senate bill 6001 will be put up to a vote…according to the TimesDispatch, the bill has good news for public schools, behavioral health services, health insurance premiums and pay raises for teachers and state employees and will resolve a stalemate thats lasted almost six months. The 800 page document is hoped to be passed and on the governor’s desk for Governor Youngkin to sign with a week so that it can go into effect immediately. I’m Roxanne Stuart.”
