The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) and Preservation Northern Neck & Middle Peninsula (PNNMP) recently announced presentations by the Rev. Dr. Lonnie H. Lee about his new book, The Huguenot-Anglican Refuge in Virginia: Empire, Land, and Religion in the Rappahannock Region. The Rappahannock Record reports the PNNMP program will be held at 1:30 p.m. October 22 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 5987 Richmond Road, Warsaw, followed by light refreshments. The LVHS program will be held at 4 p.m. October 24 at Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Dr., Kilmarnock, followed by the historical society’s annual membership meeting with business reports, volunteer awards and board elections.
