Bay Transit Offering Rides To The Polls

Bay Transit, the public transportation division of Bay Aging, wants to help area residents get out to vote on November 7. On Election Day, Bay Transit will provide free rides to and from the polls any time between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. The Rappahannock Record reports rides to and from the polls are available to any resident of the Middle Peninsula, Northern Neck, Charles City, or New Kent County who makes their reservations on or before Tuesday, October 31.
Voter registration offices are open for early voting on Saturday, October 28. The last day of in-person early voting at a local voter registration office will be 5 p.m. Saturday, November 4.
