State Del. Keith Hodges, R-Urbanna, of the 98th District invites churches and community members to join a transformative “Better Together” church service, scheduled for 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, at Lebanon Baptist Church, situated at 11821 Tidewater Trail, Saluda. It will focus on the pivotal role of churches in addressing addiction and mental illness within area communities, emphasizing the pressing need for collaborative solutions. According to the Southside Sentinel, Hodges believes that churches can play a vital role in making a difference. Faith communities are uniquely positioned to offer compassion, support, and guidance to those grappling with addiction and mental health issues.
