The American Society of Le Souvenir Français, Inc., will hold a dedication ceremony on Oct. 18 at 5 p.m. for the unveiling of two interpretive markers at Abingdon Elementary School which stands of the site of the Battle of the Hook. The markers are placed with the cooperation of Gloucester County, the National Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route Association, Inc., and the National Park Service, reports the Gazette Journal. The dedication is at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Abingdon Elementary School. All are welcome to attend.
