The Friends of Belle Isle State Park recently announced the Virginia Writers Series will continue with two writers, October 21 and 22, at the Visitor Center at Belle Isle State Park, 1632 Belle Isle Road, Lancaster. On Saturday, Rev. Dr. Lonnie H. Lee will discuss his works. On Sunday, Dean King will discuss his works. Refreshments will be served at 2 p.m. The lectures will begin at 2:30 p.m., followed by time with the author. The program fee is $10 per person and includes coffee, tea, light refreshments, parking and visitor Center displays
