The White Stone Town Council meets at 6 p.m. Thursday, November 2 at Town Hall, 433 Rappahannock Drive, White Stone. Council will hold a public hearing on an amended 2024 budget. The purpose of the amendment is to incorporate anticipated revenue and expenditures related to the public sewage system. According to the Rappahannock Record, the amended budget will include an additional $16,700 of expenditures in general funds compared to the one adopted in July, bringing the budget to $259,212. The proposal also will add a new public utilities category, resulting in $85,000 in expenditures and anticipated revenues.
