Authorities Look For Car And Driver In Deadly Middlesex County Crash

Authorities seek the public’s help in locating a car and driver involved in a fatal Halloween night crash in Middlesex County.
The car is believed to have run over a woman that a deer knocked off a 2011 Honda Moped that was traveling westbound on Old Virginia Street (Route 602), accord – ing to Virginia State Police Sgt. Michelle Anaya. The woman, Lorraine Labounty-Siecker, 72, of Crossville, Tenn., died at the scene. Labounty-Siecker was a passenger on the Moped, which was being driven by her husband, Timothy Siecker, who suffered serious injuries and was trans-ported to Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester. It is unknown at this time, if the unidentified driver is aware that he or she struck the victim in the roadway.
