There’s a vacancy on the town council and according to the town’s charter and state code, must make an appointment of a qualified voter to fill the seat until the term ends on December 31st of 2024. Qualified voters interested should complete an application and submit a resume and a letter of interest in serving. Application forms can be obtained at the town hall or at kilmarnockva.com. Deadline for application is 5 pm today, Thursday.
