The culmination of a months-long drug investigation has resulted in a number of arrests Within a few days before and after the holiday, Logan Brent Cannon, Melinda Nicole Thomas, Joanna Marie Ferreris and Anthony Grenier all of Mathews as well Thomas Ray Tilley of Hallieford were arrested and charged with a number of drug related violations, including felony distribution and possession. All are being held without bond. The investigation into the distribution ring took five months of cooperative effort by the Mathews County Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia State Police Tri-Rivers Drug Task Force.
