The Irvington Town Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. tonight, November 9, at Irvington Baptist Church, 4203 King Carter Drive, Irvington. According to the Rappahannock Record, council will discuss the potential relocation of the town office to the Steamboat Era Museum, 156 King Carter Drive, Irvington. Additionally, council will vote on a conditional use permit application submitted by Gordon and Carrie Stettinius to move an existing house and install a new pool within the resource protection area along Carter Creek at 114 Fleet Lane, Irvington. Council also will revisit the discussion of deputy patrols in town. The proposed motion to be discussed states that aggregated hours of deputies paid by the town should not exceed 40 hours per month.
