Man Draws Prison Time In Murder Case

It’s 27 years behind bars for the man accused in the abduction and murder of 28 year old Ahrea’l La’Shae Smith. 52 year old Tyrone Noel Samuel pleaded guilty to charges related to her death. Smith had disappeared from the Little Sue convenience store in Claraville after her shift around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. By Saturday, January 15, Samuel was charged with her abduction and would later be charged with her murder. Samuel is being held at Western Tidewater Regional Jail awaiting transfer to a state facility.
