A 62-year-old Colonial Beach resident who plays the role of Santa during the holidays is facing eight charges for sexual offenses against a child under the age of 13. Westmorland County Sheriff’s Office announced Timothy B. Stine was arrested on October 27 in the 300 block of Placid Bay Estates neighborhood. The Sheriff’s Office said he was taken into custody without incident. Stine is charged with two counts of child rape, two counts of forcible sodomy of a child, two counts of object sexual penetration of a child and two counts of aggravated sexual battery of child. Each charge is listed as being against a child under age 13. Court records show all of the offenses occurred three years ago in October 20.
