Smith Point Sea Rescue (SPSR) recently took delivery of a new 43-foot Donelle power boat trucked in from Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada. Rappahannock Record reports purpose built for SPSR by Millennium Marine to support all seasons and heavy/ cold weather use, the twin Cummins diesel engine vessel is a real no frills work boat. Launching and christening will take place and Rescue III will be pressed into service in the early spring after outfitting with electronics and search and rescue equipment to be installed locally.
