Gloucester County School Board Paying Plaintiff’s Fees In Grimm Lawsuit

The Gloucester County School Board agrees to pay the American Civil Liberties Union $1.3 million for their legal costs in the Gavin Grimm lawsuit. Grimm sued the School Board over its transgender bathroom policy and lower courts determined the policy was unconstitutional. The Board recently lost an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court to reinstate the policy. A statement from from the Board says its insurance provider will be paying the costs.
