The Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office is starting the process of finding a new vendor for its computer aided dispatch system. According to the Rappahannock Record the department signed a contract with the current system vendor in 2018 and since then there’s been a number of issues leading the department not to renew the agreement when it expires in January of 2023. A new vendor has been idenified and now lawmakers are working on ways to fund the purchase.
