The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says they were notified by Booth’s Furniture Store in Kilmarnock that someone is using one of their office phone numbers to call people demanding payment for a delinquent bill. This is a scam and it is one of many that are currently going around. Deputies say it if sounds suspicious it probably is so do not send money or gift cards unless you are 100% certain it is legitimate.
