VCU Releases Study On COVID-19 Long Term Effects

Virginia Commonwealth University releases reserch on the long-term effects of contracting COVID-19. It found that 4 out of 5 survivors regain their taste and smell senses within 6 months. Researchers say 20% will never regain those senses. News 8 reports that Governor Ralph Northam still can’t taste or smell anything and it’s been a year since he had the coronavirus. The study also found those under 40 were more likely to regain their senses.
