A Richmond County collision between a SUV and a horse-drawn buggy results in 2 people critically injured and the horse being euthanized. State Police say it happened Wednesday on Route 3 near Folly Neck Road when the buggy was rear-ended by the eastbound SUV. The buggy’s 2 occupants were thrown from the vehicle. The SUV driver was not hurt. According to investigators the horse’s owner asked it to be euthanized because of the injuries it suffered.
