Bay Rivers Telehealth Alliance Receives Grant For Rural Communities Opioid Response Program

Bay Rivers Telehealth Alliance receives a $500,000 federal grant over 3 years to provide treatment, recovery, and prevention services in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula area for populations challenged with the effects of psychostimulant use. The Alliance is working with its partners to support prevention services by utilizing effective practices to reduce stigma, workforce training on the signs and symptoms of psychostimulant use, and access to treatment services through telehealth. This enances care coordination between social services, healthcare, treatment programs and community-based providers.
