A long-time Tappahannock fast-food restaurant worker gets a big surprise when she’s handed the keys to a new-to-her car. According to News13 the customers of Lisa Bateman learned through social media she had been walking to work so they got together and raised $4,200 to get her the car. Bateman also has a second job at a fast-food restaurant that she no longer has to walk to.
