The Mathews County Board of Supervisors is moving ahead with the process of hiring a county administrator who is responsible for directing programs and operations of the County government. According to the Gazette-Journal the board recently selected applicants to interview from a list provided by an outside firm which is helping with the hiring process. It’s not clear when those interviews will get started. Sandy Warner is interim county administrator.
