Merry Point residents appeared at a recent Lancaster County Board of Supervisors meeting to report that the destruction and threats from pigs running loose is still happening even though fences had been repaired. According to the Rappahannock Record the residents say the property owner who has the pigs also houses malnourished horses plus there’s dilapidated boats and broken down vehicles kept there. County administrator Don Gill says they will continue to monitor the situation and issue violations.
