Congressman Rob Wittman announced $2 million in funding is secured for the Middle Peninsula Region through the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity Grants program. It will assist in the planning and revitalization of over 50 worksites on the waterfront providing support to the seafood industry, watermen, and local businesses. Wittman wrote a letter of support last summer for the Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission’s RAISE Grant Application.
