Lancaster County BOS Approves White Stone Solar Project

The Lancaster Board of Supervisors approves a special exception permit request to construct a 5-megawatt, 40-acre solar facility near White Stone. According to the Rappahannock Record the new facility will be adjacent to the similar Rappahannock Solar Facility, which was approved by the board of supervisors in 2018. Director of Planning and Land Use Brian Barnes says this new plant and the existing Rappahannock facility are called “community solar projects”.
