Cooks Corner Workforce Housing Project Could Be Revived

A project to build workforce housing apartments in Cooks Corner that failed due to COVID-19 could be revived. According to the Southside Sentinel the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors agreed to let Bay Aging take over the project that was conceived 2 years ago and received a $3 million grant. The dissolution by the Middlesex Foundation resulted in the grant being returned. Officials say building workforce housing attracts skilled professionals to the area.
