The Lancaster County Lions Club’s “Operation Christmas Food Basket” project is back this year after being suspended in 2020 due to COVID-19. According to the Rappahannock Record it takes place this Saturday at Tri-Star Supermarket, on Irvington Road in Kilmarnock.from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Shoppers can pick up a list of suggested items to purchase while doing their own shopping and club members will accept the donations as the shoppers leave the store. All items will be distributed through a food bank.
