The Essex County Airport Authority announces its proposed overall goal for its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program for Tappahannock-Essex County Airport. The program is required in order for the airport to received federal financial assistance. The proposed goal is 14.71% for fiscal years 2020 through 2022. Officials say the public is welcome to comment on the proposal no later than Jan. 13. Contact Airport Manager James W. Evans Jr. with any questions.
