The River Counties Community Foundation released its 2021 Annual report which also took a look back at the nonprofit’s 25-years of existence. Director Lincoln Boykin tells the Rappahannock Record the foundation has more than $28 million in assets, a long way from the $25,000 it started with. With COVID-19 the foundation changed its focus to helping other nonprofits deal with the pandemic. Boykin says they became proactive with their funding as needs evolved.
