The owner of Richland Farms receives an award from the Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District. According to the Southside Sentinel Charles Rich received the “2021 Clean Water Farm Award” for his constant use of conservation techniques in his operations – a practice that dates back 4 decades. District officials say Rich has had an exceptional career and is always on the forefront of advancements in conservation practices.
