The Virginia General Assembly passes a bill aimed at decreasing hazing events at colleges. The measure is named for VCU student Adam Oakes who died last year of alcohol poisoning following a fraternity party. It requires anti-hazing training for student groups at both public and private colleges and universities plus schools will also be required to maintain records and publicly post data of any known hazing incidents by student organizations.
