The Lancaster County Board of Supervisors asked the school board to provide figures for larger pay raises than requested. According to the Rappahannock Record Superintendent Dan Russell’s initial request was a 7% raise for teachers and a 5% raise for other staff. Supervisors wanted costs for 3 additional options: a 10% raise for teachers plus raises for the rest of division staff at 5%, 7% and 10%. The figures were presented at a meeting on Monday.
