The Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission is accepting applications for funding in areas covered by the district to pay for pumping out septic tanks. Approved participants will receive a voucher that covers up to $300 of the pumping cost. There are income limits and other qualifications. Go to mppdc.com for details and an application form. Grants will be awarded until funds are expended. Application deadline is May 31.
