Colonial Beach Police chief Gregory Deaver is asking town lawmakers to support two initiatives that will help officers better do their jobs. According to News on the Neck one initiative is purchasing mobile data terminals for police cruisers and the other is joining Lexipol which provides public safety policy and training solutions along with a wellness app for public safety and local government. If the Town Council approves the initiatives they could begin before the end of the month.
