Rappahannock Electric Cooperatuve announced 6 organizations received Community Grants in 2021. Each year the cooperative awards grants to support emergency services, education and community groups that give back across its 22-county service area. Coop officials say the grants are meant to supplement – but not replace – state, local or other sources of funding for specific projects. The grants totalled $18,000.
