Virginia has a new Elections Commissioner. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports Susan Beals will succeed Chris Piper, who was appointed to the job by former Gov. Ralph Northam. Piper’s last day was March 11. Beals had been named as the Director of the Office of Constituent Services last month. Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s office announced that Susan Gerber will succeed Beals in her former role.
