Tappahannock Man Named As USDA Virginia Development Director

A man from Tappahannock is chosen to be Virginia’s Rural Development State Director at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. According to News 8 Perry Hickman joined USDA Rural Development in 2008 and most recently served as Virginia Community Programs Director. The State Director serves as the chief executive officer of rural development, helping to improve the economy and quality of life in rural America.
